6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Humans, dogs, cats and the occasional
bunny will all enjoyed the evening of Saturday, September 20th
when Autobody Fine Art hosted a benefit for the Alameda Animal
Shelter and NorCal GSP Rescue. The evening featured a silent
auction and hors d'oeuvres
from Flying Monkey Catering of Marin. Beer wine and cocktails
were poured liberally and the evening ended with a marvelous
performance by renowned Portuguese Fado singer Ramana Vieira.
The night was a marvelous celebration of the special bond between
animals and their human companions and helped support the work
of people dedicated to providing a second chance for abandoned
animals.
All proceeds benefited the Alameda Animal Shelter and NorCal
GSP Rescue (a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization).
We will be repeating this event in 2009. "Dog
Days Deux; Taking the Biscuit," will be held on Friday,
July 24th, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The evening will
feature a silent auction and musical entertainment. Please check
